As a dedicated course facilitator, I am committed to providing comprehensive mental health training courses that help learners connect with the material, use the skills covered, and put them into practice.
In 2014, I began facilitating the Mental Health Commission course Road to Mental Readiness (R2MR) for first responders. The training is now known as The Working Mind First Responder and has many adaptations, including The Working Mind, Sports, the Legal Sector, Health Care, Long-term Care, Oral Health Care Professionals, and Trades.

In October 2023, I began a one-year contract with the MHCC Opening Minds team as the Training and Delivery Specialist for the Psychological Health and Safety Program. Based on the National Standard of Canada for Psychological Health and Safety and the International Standard, they have developed an achievement-based assessment program to measure the integration of PHS in the workplace. As well as four PHS specific courses: Introduction to PHS, Building Team Success (e-course), Integrating PHS and PHS Assessor Training.

I have written my first book and will be publishing it soon. Growing up with a Father who lived with Huntington's Disease is not a happy story. Sadly, the impact of this disease caused a lot of heartache, sadness and trauma. My purpose in sharing my story is to help financially support my brother, who inherited this horrible incurable disease. More information will be shared once the dates are confirmed.
