"Everyone needs a coach"

What is coaching

Coaching is a collaborative process between a coach and an individual who is looking for growth and clarity at a deep personal level. Coaches honour the client as the expert in his or her own life and work. We believe every client is creative, resourceful and whole. This process helps clients dramatically improve their outlook, while improving their skills and unlocking their potential. Coaching enables the guided client to gain clarity and focus on their key values and beliefs to excel into their future.

Getting Coffee

To get the most out of your coaching secessions

  • Be committed to your goals and vision. Take the time to examine what you want and need, and determine goals that are truly meaningful to you.

  • Make a commitment to yourself to complete your action plan each week by experimenting with new approaches and behaviours.

  • Make your coaching session a priority in your schedule.

  • Come to the session prepared with what you want to discuss.

  • The goals of each coaching secession are to assist clients in (1) promoting self discovery, (2) establishing achievable goals, (3) determining a course of action, and (4) empowering themselves to achieve their goals.

  • Typically, the client sets specific goals each month, then periodically, the client and the coach meet to determine what has and has not been accomplished to clarify and support future goals.

  • Based on any assessments or performance evaluations, the client and coach develop an action plan and benchmarks for accountability.

  • This is a personal investment of your resources and demands your best work. If you aren’t doing your best, I will ask you to do so.

Conference

Confidentiality

The relationship between coach and client is completely confidential. This allows the client the security to openly address concerns, fears or problems that are in the way of their success. Any safety risks, such as harm to self or others falls outside the boundary of confidentiality and must be reported appropriately.

What coaching is not

The coaching relationship is in no way to be construed as psychological counselling or any type of psychotherapy. However one similarity is fit between client and coach, if we are not a good fit I will refer you to a different coach. We will work together to co-create the best solutions and the client is responsible for the decisions they make.
