About me:

As a dedicated mental health course facilitator, I am committed to providing comprehensive training courses that support learners in connecting with the material, using the skills covered, and putting those skills into practice.

In 2014, I began facilitating the Mental Health Commission course Road to Mental Readiness (R2MR) for first responders. The training is now known as The Working Mind First Responder and has many adaptations, including The Working Mind, Sports, the Legal Sector, Health Care, Long-term Care, Oral Health Care Professionals, and Trades.

In October 2023, I began a one-year contract with the MHCC Opening Minds team as the Training and Delivery Specialist for the Psychological Health and Safety Program. Based on the National Standard of Canada for Psychological Health and Safety and the International Standard, they have developed an achievement-based assessment program to measure the integration of PHS in the workplace. As well as four PHS specific courses: Introduction to PHS, Building Team Success (e-course), Integrating PHS and PHS Assessor Training.
